2007-2008 Scholarship Recipients

 

Theresa Vasquez - GRADUATED in December, 2007 with her degree in nursing!  We are SO proud of you Theresa!  Way to hang in there and overcome all of the obstacles life has placed before you.  We know you will do great things in the future!

 

Rachel— will be attending a community college this fall.  She believes that is important for her future to get a degree and is excited about the possibilities it will bring!  She looks forward to being a successful, positive influence in the Hispanic community.

 

Wendy— will be attending CSU where she will be working towards becoming a veterinarian.  She loves animals and can’t wait to help them and we’re sure they will be lucky to have her help!  She was in the National Honor Society and received the “positive attitude” award in high school.  We are sure this will continue throughout her school experiences.

Mile High Hope has been fortunate to award scholarships to amazing youth who have aged out of the Colorado State foster system.  To learn more about our scholarship recipients, see below.

We will be awarding more scholarships next year.  We will begin taking applications in February of 2008 for the 2008-2009 school year.
